It is my great privilege as the Headteacher of Colchester County High School for Girls to welcome you to our unique and amazing community. The standards of teaching and learning are exceptional and we expect Sixth Formers to work hard and take increasing responsibility for their learning. This is a vibrant, happy school providing an exceptional opportunity for girls to develop their talents, enjoy themselves and flourish as individuals. The school was founded in 1909 to provide an excellent education for girls and continues to provide tradition and innovation to fulfil that aim in the 21st Century.
