Training provider overview

The Gorse Academies Trust is composed of four Primary Schools, five Secondary Schools, a Post-16 College and an Initial Teacher Training Provider. The Trust is also closely partnered with a number of other Education Providers of all phases across the North. All of this means that the Trust is in a position to offer, through its Teacher apprenticeships, exceptional development opportunities. The Trust trains around 150 teachers a year, the vast majority going on to successful careers in the local area.

The Trust has a broad and varied infrastructure which means it also has a proven track record in developing apprentices in other professions such as finance and administration.
